Ahmed Mahomed is the Group Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of black empowered ICT (information, communication and technology) company, Datacentrix. Mahomed has held various executive management positions for close on 33 years and has been operating at board level for over 20 years. He is a seasoned businessman and ICT veteran having been in the IT industry for 22 years. He joined Datacentrix in 2002 to head up the company’s then Infrastructure division. Following his successful management of the division, Mahomed was named as Chief Operating Officer (COO) in 2007 and became CEO later that year. Prior to joining Datacentrix, he held the title of managing director at Pinnacle Micro and was also operations manager for hardware and construction giant, Cashbuild. Mahomed was honoured by the Minara Chamber of Commerce in 2018 for his leadership ability and wealth of experience in executive management and business, receiving the coveted title of ‘Businessperson of the Year’.
