Ally Long

Ally Long is a product designer and front-end developer specializing in digital products for emerging markets and novice tech users. Based in Berlin with significant work experience in West Africa (particularly Nigeria and Kenya), she focuses on designing field-tested interfaces for resource-constrained environments with poor infrastructure, unreliable power, and low connectivity. She has worked with international organizations including UNICEF, Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, WHO, and Institute of Tropical Medicine Antwerp. Currently Head of Design at CredCore (2024-present), she previously served as Design Lead at Field Intelligence (2017-2023) working on public health software for NGOs and nonprofits. She is also an established public speaker at conferences including O'Reilly Fluent, Generate London, FrontTalks, Front Trends, and CSSConf AU.
