Daniel (Danie) van Tonder is a South African fintech entrepreneur and former banker. He currently serves as CEO of Zeam and Executive Director of Paytec. Van Tonder co-founded Fintec Labs in 2015, an African innovation hub using technology to solve challenges for banks, insurers, and regulators. His banking career includes senior roles at Absa Group as Director of Data Products and Barclays Investment Bank, where he developed expertise in data science and financial technology. Based in Stellenbosch, South Africa, he focuses on connecting people to their money globally.
