Jubril Adewale "Wale" Tinubu, CON (born 26 June 1967), is the Group Chief Executive of Oando PLC, sub-Saharan Africa's leading indigenous integrated energy group listed on the Nigerian and Johannesburg Stock Exchanges. A lawyer by training, he holds degrees from the University of Liverpool (LLB) and London School of Economics (LLM in International Finance and Shipping). Called to the Nigerian bar in 1990, he began his career at the family law firm K.O. Tinubu and Co., specializing in corporate and petroleum law. In 1994, he co-founded Ocean & Oil Group, transforming it into a major integrated energy player. Under his leadership, Oando completed landmark acquisitions including ConocoPhillips Nigerian assets ($1.8 billion, 2014) and ENI's NAOC (2024). He founded Oando Clean Energy Limited (2021) and chairs the Oando Foundation, supporting education initiatives.
