Kenneth Kaniu

Kenneth Kaniu is the CEO of Britam Asset Managers (Kenya) Limited, with over 16 years of experience in asset management, risk management, and investment across East Africa and Europe. He began his career in 2004 as a graduate trainee in banking, later participating in Allianz's global asset management associate program in Munich, Germany, where he worked on Pan-European equity research and portfolio management. He has held senior leadership positions including Chief Investment Officer at STANLIB and various investment management roles at Stanbic. Under his leadership, Britam Asset Managers manages over USD 1.7 billion in assets across Kenya and Uganda and won Best Fund and REITs Manager in Kenya in 2018. He holds professional certifications as a CFA charter holder, CAIA charter holder, and certified FRM.
