Martin Nielsen is the co-founder and CEO of Mdundo, Africa's leading music service. He moved to Kenya in 2012 as Entrepreneur in Residence for 88mph, an African investment fund focused on early stage tech startups. Since founding Mdundo in 2012, the company has grown to over 20 million active users monthly across Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Ghana, and Nigeria. Mdundo works with over 100,000 African musicians and has licensing deals with Warner Music Group, Believe Digital, and Tunecore. The company was listed on Nasdaq First North Growth Markets in Copenhagen in September 2020.
