Mostafa ElBatsh

Mostafa ElBatsh is the CEO and Co-Founder of VIPA Academy, and previously served as CEO of Lynks (YC W'16), a cross-border e-commerce company connecting consumers in emerging markets with products from the US and China. Before his entrepreneurial journey, he was General Manager of Emerging Brands at Passport (2023-2024). Earlier in his career, he worked on the Emerging Markets team at Google and as a Software Engineer Intern at Facebook. Mostafa is passionate about algorithms and competitive programming, having competed in ACM-ICPC World Finals 2009 (rank 68) and IOI 2006. He taught algorithms and data structures at Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport from 2008-2011.
