Ndabenhle Junior Ngulube

Ndabenhle Junior Ngulube is a self-taught fullstack web and mobile developer and co-founder of Pineapple Insurance, serving as Chief Development Officer and board director. With a formal educational background in Accounting and Taxation from the University of Cape Town, he bridges the commercial and technological realms. Originally from Zimbabwe and having lived in Germany, he demonstrated early resilience by balancing multiple educational systems. He began his tech career at Platform45, where he spent two years refining his skills in UX/UI development and performance optimization. He co-founded Pineapple in 2017 after participating in Hannover Re's innovation competition. Known for his diplomatic leadership style, he oversees web and mobile platform development with a focus on feature enhancement and performance. When not coding, he flexes his creativity through visual art and sound scoring. He was named to Forbes Africa's 30 Under 30 list in 2019.
