Sherif Hosny

Sherif Hosny is the CEO of Mishkat Agritech Farms in Saudi Arabia, a pioneering agritech company focused on improving food security through high-tech greenhouses and vertical farming facilities in Jeddah. He is the founder and former Chairman of Schaduf Urban Farms (2011-2022), the leading rooftop farming company in the Middle East. Previously, he served as Managing Director of Rio Tinto Alcan International Network in the MENA region. He has over 18 years of experience in product management and business development with local and multinational companies in the food industry. He is a Synergos fellow and member of the Arab World Social Innovators Network.
