Sisan Dorsu is a former founder and current private equity professional who co-founded Torche, a Nigerian fintech providing biometric payment solutions enabling transactions through fingerprints, palm prints, and facial recognition. After moving to the US at age seven and surviving kidney failure in 2009, meeting Michelle Obama inspired her entrepreneurial path. She successfully led Torche through Techstars NYC 2022 and built biometric payment infrastructure across Lagos before pursuing an Oxford MBA at Saïd Business School as an Adara Foundation Scholar. She transitioned to finance, working in M&A investment banking at Stifel Europe and secondaries at Hayfin and William Blair, currently based in London.
