Sudhu Arumugam is Head of Strategy at BitMEX, a leading cryptocurrency derivatives exchange. He co-founded CoinFLEX, where he served as Chief Risk Officer from 2018 to 2023. With over 20 years of experience in derivatives trading and risk management, his career spans major financial institutions including Merrill Lynch International (Director, Equity Derivatives Trading), and partnerships at Sequoia Capital LLP and Cusaru Capital LLP. He has extensive expertise in fixed income and equity derivatives trading across banks, hedge funds, and crypto exchanges in Europe and Asia. Previously, he served as Chief Product Officer at M2, Chief Risk Officer at Coinfloor, and CEO Asia Pacific at FFastfill PLC.
