Tamsanqa Ngalo

Tamsanqa Ngalo is a South African entrepreneur and technology executive with over 25 years of experience in fintech and payments technology. He is the Co-Founder and CEO of Oyi Medical Card, a prepaid medical savings card launched in 2017 to help individuals and families without medical aid save for healthcare needs. He is also Co-Founder of Axoxa, a shared WhatsApp inbox platform for customer support. Ngalo holds a PhD in Computer Science from University of Hertfordshire and an MSc in Information Technology from University of Liverpool. His career includes senior technology roles at Net1 UEPS Technologies, where he served as Development Manager, Technical Consultant, and later CTO and CIO at Net1 Mobile Solutions. He specializes in payments technology, biometrics, mobile applications, and embedded systems. His work focuses on democratizing access to financial and healthcare services in South Africa.
