Ugochukwu Nkwocha

Ugochukwu Nkwocha is the CEO and Co-founder of 9jacodekids Academy, Nigeria's leading STEM education institute, which he established in January 2019. The academy teaches coding, robotics, and artificial intelligence to children aged 4-16, having impacted over 9,000 students. He successfully raised $350,000 in seed funding in 2022 from an angel investor. Prior to founding 9jacodekids, Ugochukwu served as Digital Marketing Specialist at Codebot Technologies Limited (2016-2018), Product Development Manager at Catalyst2000 Technologies Ltd (2013-2016), System Administrator at Infonetmedia Ltd (2011-2013), and Network Design Engineer at Catalyst2000 Technologies Ltd (2008-2010). He holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Port Harcourt (2008) and an MSc in Computer Network Administration and Management from the University of Portsmouth, England (2011), where he graduated with distinction as the best student in his department.
