Waleed Rashed

Waleed Rashed is an Egyptian tech entrepreneur and the Founder & CEO of SIDEUP, a MENA-based e-commerce services platform founded in 2019 (formerly known as VOO). He specializes in e-commerce logistics and operations, connecting small and medium-sized businesses with shipping, warehousing, fulfillment, and payment solutions. Prior to SIDEUP, he founded Ingez, an errand-running company (2013-2016), where he gained operations and logistics expertise. He began his career in finance, working as a Sales Representative at First Abu Dhabi Bank (2007) and Sales Team Leader at Al Khalij Commercial Bank (2008). Under his leadership, SIDEUP raised $1.2 million in seed funding in 2022, serves over 2,000 e-commerce businesses, and expanded operations to Saudi Arabia.
