Founder and CEO at LyfPlus, an operating system for health facilities with most connectivity clusters in Tanzania. Two (2) science degrees, 9+ years experience as a Petroleum Chemist at a renowned compliance organization before I quit to start LyfPlus. One of my life's defining work is my research in Alginates and Alginic acids from marine brown algae species Sargassum sp. As the lead researcher on the project, I pioneered the extraction and production of Sodium Alginate gum (a dye thickener) and Calcium Alginate gel (food binder) from locally abundant marine resources. The research aimed to reduce reliance on imported alginates and promote establishment of local production for the $300 million alginate industry. The methods discovered produced groundbreaking yields, generating high-quality alginates with remarkable performances. The project won various academic awards in science research internationally. Now building LyfPlus.
